In Which Our Hero Goes on a Long Journey

    Aug 20, 2010 · 2 Comments

Away We Go...In case you're wondering, that means I'm leaving on a jet plane.

    Tonight.

To spend two weeks in beautiful, sunny Israel.

    :)

The only downside is that it's a business trip, which means that when I'm not eating or sleeping, I'll be working my tuchus off and spending some very very long days at the office. Also, The Boy is staying behind to hold down the fort (and also, to water our tomato plants and feed the cats... all of which would wither away to nothingness without constant love and attention)

On the bright side, regardless of how little sightseeing I'll be able to squeeze in, there's no question that there will be food. After all, no matter how much work there is, a girl's gotta eat at some point, right?

Soooo... I hope you don't mind if we just talk about what I'm eating and doing and seeing in Israel for the next little while (aside from work, that is, because if the crushing boredom of it ). Our regularly scheduled programming will resume after Labour Day.

    XOXOXO,
    Isabelle

Hope you have a spectacular time. I, for one, can't wait to see what you eat in Israel. Hope it makes up for the boring and extended work hours!

      Best,
      Casey
