Friday Pin-Ups: Superbowl Party

February 1, 2013|Posted in: odds and ends

I may have less than zero interest in team sports, but it’s pretty much impossible to ignore the fact that the Superbowl is just around the corner. I mean, have you looked at Pinterest lately? It’s nothing but football-shaped foods and insanely caloriffic appetizers.

(Yes, I know caloriffic isn’t a word… but how else do you describe dishes that are made from a combination of cream cheese, full fat sour cream, bacon, butter, cheddar and/or sausage? Yeah, my point exactly.)

I’m not planning on watching the game on Sunday (especially since we don’t get any of the awesome commercials up here in Canadia), but I know a good bandwagon when I see one… so here are five ridiculously delicious-looking and insanely fattening things I would serve at my Superbowl party if I was actually hosting one.

NOTE: As always, please pin responsibly. If one of these recipes catches your eye, click on the image to open it up in Pinterest and repin directly from there. That way, you’ll credit the original source, rather than linking back to this page… it’s not just a time-saver for whenever you need the recipe again, it’s just plain ol’ good manners.

Thanks so much for sharing a link to the pretzel bites! They would be a definite hit. I’m loving that pizza dip… going to have to try that for sure!
