I don’t know about you, but after the week I’ve had, I sure could use a drink (or two… or three… or ten). On a scale of 10, with 10 being awesome and 0 being awful, I’d give this week a -5 for extreme suckitude.
Suffice to say that when I left the office today, I wanted nothing more than to jump up into the air and click my heels.
Because I’ve still got a job.
Because I miss my old team like hell.
Because I know I’ll muddle my way through this somehow.
And because I’ve got a whole week in sunny Puerto Rico ahead of me, which I plan to spend shopping, sight-seeing, sun-bathing, stuffing my face with lots of delicious food and NOT thinking about what’s waiting for me at work when I return.
In honour of all those things, I’m starting off my weekend with a big ol’ cocktail. The kind that comes in a highball glass with clinking ice cubes and a brandied cherry or two hiding at the bottom. Join me, won’t you?
(I even included a mocktail for those of you who can’t drink!)

They all look great, I would have the margarita right now… mmm
I agree, blend, shake or stir any of those cocktails for me and the weekend will start off on an even keel.
